On Wednesday, October 28th, Bread and Life’s mobile soup kitchen(MSK) made its third annual trip to Salanter Akiba Riverdale(SAR) Academy in Riverdale in the Bronx. There MSK drivers, Danny Velez and Henry Torani told almost 200 kindergarten and first graders about the work of MSK, and how we help to feed hungry people.  The students gave the MSK 150 brown bag lunches of sandwiches, potato chips, and fruit they made.  The next day, MSK distributed the brown bag lunches to hungry people in Brooklyn and Queens.

We are grateful to the students of SAR Academy for helping us feed hungry people.
