Remembering a Legacy of Compassion:
Honoring Jeremy by Feeding Those in Need

A Message from Jeremy’s Family
If you knew Jeremy, you probably remember his quick smile, sharp wit, and his compassionate and caring nature. What you might not have known is how deeply he cared about service.
Jeremy was proud that his work at Bank of America allowed him many opportunities to volunteer in Brooklyn, where he and his wife Tara made their home for nearly 25 years. Jeremy especially loved bringing his teammates to St. John’s Bread & Life, drawn to their mission and the opportunity to serve his neighbors.
Jeremy showed up with a big heart, a ready smile, and no hesitation to get to work. He believed in dignity, access, and equity — but he also believed in having fun, and that volunteerism was the best kind of team building. St. John’s Bread & Life was a place where all of those values came together, and Jeremy was grateful to contribute in a myriad of ways – from working in the food pantry to supporting families for the holidays to raising money for financial donations.
St. John’s mission says it best: “Together, we have the power to make a lasting impact.” That’s exactly how Jeremy lived his life — quietly determined to uplift every person who crossed his path.
If you’re here, it likely means Jeremy made a lasting impact on you. Thank you for honoring his legacy by supporting a cause he cared so deeply about.
