Inspired by the spirit of St Vincent DePaul, St. John’s Bread and Life
affords itself this mission: to bring food to the poor and accompany them on their journey to wholeness by providing necessary services. We advocate for them, always mindful of the words of St Vincent “to serve others as we would serve Christ”

The St. John's Bread and Life kitchen is our principle effort in helping those in need, by providing our community daily with a good solid meal, them an opportunity to start that day well.
It is a massive undertaking, requiring endless effort and exceptional stamina. In order to feed these thousands, we need not only donors like yourself, but also an extensive network of committed volunteers, and business relationships with key suppliers.
As our organization grows, so does its efficiency—every dollar donated means we can increase the value of the money we already spend, allowing us to drive better bargains with suppliers, and plan in advance for seasonal supplies of good, fresh food.
When we can provide the simple kindness of a meal, we in fact give more than that: We give hope in the heart of someone who has absolutely no one to turn to, and nowhere to go.
The staff, facilitators and donors of St. John's Bread and Life need your help. Please read more about the work we do and consider donating or volunteering today.
